About

I am an Alabamian living in New Orleans, taking inspiration from my love of tropical flora in the Southeastern US. Vibrant colors and plants in the city are expressed as surface decoration on my pots, or sometimes are the forms themselves.

I’m a largely self-taught potter, having taken my first community classes in 2012. I also enjoy teaching classes and have taught in the past at Byrdie’s Pottery.

My work is wheel-thrown and handbuilt mid-range stoneware created and fired at the studio I share with other members of the New Orleans Clay Collective.
